Danger and Genevieve set out to capture seven lighthouses in three days in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Driving up the coast they shared countless peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and philosophical conversations while capturing the dance of sea oats along the way. Mapping out their journey they planned every sunrise and sunset.
The first lighthouse was Oak Island followed by Bald Head Island (by ferry), Cape Lookout (by ferry), and then an overnight camping excursion on Ocracoke Island. The final three lighthouses, Cape Hatteras, Bodie and Currituck were all waiting to be photographed, standing tall and proud.
