Six months ago, (to the day) - I married my Best Friend. On this chilly, yet gorgeous January morning we reacquainted ourselves, via a mini-getaway. The ocean was calling.
This was Oso's first time seeing the ocean. Safe to say, he LOVED it!
I write as I reflect inward...
After the holidays there always seems to be a 'letting-down'. As if the energy and excitement of the family-gatherings, gift-wrapping, card-sending, and baking all add up to be this great sum of an experience. Within that, comes the New Year and looking back on What Was and looking ahead to what Could Be.
If there is one thing that I have learned from this reimmersion (as my Dad calls it) into the New Year, 2016 - it is to celebrate what is. ...And, keep dreaming of what COULD BE.
All to often, I believe, we forget to see the beauty of what is already right in front of us.
My mantra this week - - Embrace the moment. LOVE what is. Feel Joy in your heart and share with every person you meet.
Love & Light to each of you!!
Let's make it a BRIGHT year and really LIGHT THIS PLACE UP!
